  • The Physician has the ability to treat patients on anti-coagulants.

How does GreenLight XPS™ Laser Therapy Work?

GreenLight™ Laser Therapy uses laser energy, Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP), to remove enlarged prostate tissue. This procedure opens the channel for urine to flow through. There is less risk of the sexual and other side effects that are somewhat common with a TURP procedure.

A small fiber is inserted into the urethra through the use of a cystoscope. The fiber carries laser energy to vaporize and remove enlarged prostate tissue. A patient’s natural urine flow is restored and uncomfortable urinary symptoms are quickly relieved in most patients.

Common Results after using the GreenLight XPS™ Laser Therapy
